Welcome to The North Herefordshire Hunt
We hunt a country in Herefordshire that stretches from Staunton on Wye in the south west to Leysters in the north and from the outskirts of Weobley to the west and to Canon Frome in the east. The country includes old grassland, woodlands and cultivated ground and is hunted two days each week.
The main towns are Leominster in the north, where the Boxing Day meet is held each year in The Corn Square, and our country touches the outskirts of Bromyard and Hereford itself. As there is very little roadwork the hunt is popular with Point to Point owners and every February one of the most professional and well supported race meetings in the region is held. The hunt supports a very active Pony Club branch and in turn there is a good core of young people who regularly ride to hounds. The foot followers are a numerous and knowledgeable crew who are devoted to their pack.
We are always pleased to welcome new supporters to the Hunt whether on a horse or as a foot follower.
